This series comprises material pertaining to particular departments of the Women's Missionary Federation (WMF) and topics in which the WMF took a particular interest. The records are from approximately 1936-1960 and are primarily educational and promotional materials used by the WMF. Most of the materials were produced by the WMF, but there are some items produced outside the WMF. Departments represented include Special Needs, Thankoffering, Life Membership and Memorials, Christian Service, Extension, Missionary Education, Junior Mission Bands, and New Guinea. Department records include printed informational pamphlets, leaflets, study guides, skits, services, applications, and promotional brochures. Other records pertain to particular subjects such as prayer, Advent, and Bible studies and comprise educational pamphlets, leaflets, study guides, prayer calendars, family devotions, and activity sheets. Files are arranged alphabetically.

The ALC met as a delegate body biennially in October, the time and place of which was determined by the president and Board of Trustees.
